Was looking forward to doing a post titled "ScottRezaLogan is now Scottie".

But though I did the same steps, -including "Submit", -as I have with other recent and successful changes & updates to my profile, -from "My Home", -this apparently, and so far, -hasn't taken.

I also got no message saying that such name has already been taken.

Can such a change to username so be made? And if so, What and How? What may I somehow be missing. Or has it been successful, -but just hasn't "Taken Root" yet?

Mindful of considerations to remain at ready familiarity with our general Readership, -I felt that a change to the shorter and easier "Scottie" (Never mind its apparent Femininity, -I just like it!), -would remain in keeping with such. Coupled with my basically mentioning such, in such a post.

Depending on how the software is written, it wouldn't surprise me at all if you can't change your user name. Maybe a forum admin can... dunno. Probably easiest would be to just create a new account with the desired name and let everyone know you did.

If Scottie isn't taken, just create a new account with that name and start using it.
