A friend of mine had a similar experience when he was asked in an interview if he knew anything about the sub registers on the IBM 360 operating systems, they were having real trouble making them work (I'm paraphrasing as didn't have a clue what he was talking about), Answer: " I wrote them". The next question was "When can you start"?
