Seems my son was at work (stagehand) and a few of the people on the road crew were being very dismissive of him as he is 'only 19'. So obviously what could he know....

Being asked if he could tie knots well, saying yes... and being 'put to the test'.... the road crew had him tie....a clove hitch. Then they had him add the half hitch. OK.

Then of course they stepped it up to a bowline. Oh yeah and since he could do that it became a bowline behind his back. OK.

Since he 'passed' those....hey, tie a monkey fist.... little did they know....

Then it was.....ok.... now behind your back!

I wish I were there to have seen it personally. Insert cheshire cat grin here.....ear to ear..... needless to say not another word was EVER said to him about his knowledge. If he said he knew something...they believed him. Oh do I love instant Karma... Hey.... he actually WAS listening to me all those times!
