I would like to think so. My BOB is a truck. Given the short time some people had, with virtually no time to grab anything, I’d be okay.

With the knowledge that there were active fires in the vicinity, my truck would have been loaded with other valuables and keepsakes so that when the knock on the door came, I could simply grab the dog and drive away.

That is the routine with fires. I start packing the truck when fires become active — it might take a couple hours to complete and then we simply wait. Take still photos and video to document what remains. The truck stayed packed for over a week on one occasion.
