Either/both.
More interested in a belt. Longer lenghts of para cord. I saw a website a while ago where a guy had instruction on how to do this and didn't save it to favorites (duh). Now I can't find it.

Tied this earlier tonight...



It was 10ft of paracord and it took about 8ft to tie 6 inches worth. It's only 2 strand tho. 6 strand would have probably used up all 10ft.
