I have recently purchased a pair of BDU's with the kneepad inserts. I advise anyone interested in BDU's to get these, they are so comfortable on the knees.

So far, the best bdu's I've had are the Marine marpat trousers. While the camo is great, the design behind them is the best I've used.

1) the waist band does not have the cinches. instead, it has elastic on the waist

2) the cargo pockets have an elastic band along the top edge which keeps things in your pocket, as well as keeping things snugged up to your thigh, without banging around.

3) they are treated with a wrinkle free treatment... wash and wear.

4) No cinch straps at the cuff, makes it nice when you want to wear them without blousing.

5) the knees also have pad inserts

Does anyone know of a source for 100% cotton BDU type pants & shorts? I don't like the poly-cotton blend way too hot in the summer for me.
