Who's used/taken it?
Shelf life?
FishMox

And yes I know if you have a valid reason your doc. can prescibe you some but that normaly takes a visit and that has a co-pay and so do scripts (depending on plan), and $10 from amazon is darn cheap.

So, reviews?

Its just your regular amoxicillin that one can get a prescription for. Indications are the same, usually upper respiratory tract infections. Its a very narrow spectrum drug, so for anything more serious, it won't do.
Shelf life is a much debated subject, but it looks like drugs are good well past their expiration dates. See this article: http://www.mercola.com/2000/apr/2/drug_expiration.htm . It requires you enter some email address, not necssarily yours <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Good info.

You can get Tetracycline too:
http://www.amazon.com/Fish-Cycline-Tetra...p;s=home-garden

Which I believe works for a pretty wide range.

I also heard/read someplace that Tetracycline goes bad/dangerous after it expires... anyone know about this?

Call me a chicken, but, even tho I feel that sometimes the FDA overtests and overregulates drugs, I have little doubt that drugs made for critters are not as well tested and/or manufacured as those made for human consumption. I will stick with meds from the drug store...

Probably a good decision on many levels, not the least of which is decreasing bacterial drug resistance and actually using the right drug for the right disease.

Yeah. It is probably not a good idea to practice medicine without a license, even on yourself...
