Okay, I'm vibrating so hard I can hardly type. DW and I are in the process of freaking out and since I firmly believe that freaking shared is freaking halved I going share it.

Sometime in the next week DW and I will be recieving a large, brown envelop from China. In that envelope will be the details the child who will most likely become DD2!

It's been almost three long, hard, stressful, expensive years going through the process and now suddenly we are close to the end.

The anxiaty and pressure in our house right now is through the roof. It feels like the days before Hurricane Rita hit. Right now neither of us can breathe. The final activities involved in this adoption are the hardest. We know this from when we adopted DD(1).

Anyway, the choice was either run screaming through the hallways at work or post a scream here. With that I just want to say

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIEEE!!!
OHGODOHGODOHGODOHGODOHGOD!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIEEE!!!!!!!!!!

pant pant pant pant...

Thanks, y'all.

Congratulations!

I know what you're going through. I adopted DD1 (and only) from South Korea 17 years ago. Despite all of the hoops jumped through and anxious months spent waiting, it was worth it. I hope that time passes quickly for you and your family.

...?... She's arriving in a large brown envelope?

(Wait a minute... that can't be right....)

Oh, the DETAILS will be arriving in a large brown envelope!

Whew! I should learn to read more slowly!

Good luck on the details and the actual DD2. I hope everything goes smoothly.

A 3-year pregnancy.... WOW!

Hearty Congratulations! But two DD's? They are wonderful, but so expensive as they hit the teen years. You'd better be prepared to sell a kidney on E-bay in order to pay for their weddings
