Aloha Everyone,

I have been enjoying this forum. Thanks for all of your information and pictures. I thought it might be about time to contribute more of my own.

Here's my urban EDC (outdoors EDC doesn't change this too much, but more stuff is added):

small card wallet (ID, credit cards, misc cards, cash, fresnel lens, finger band-aids, cotton square, sparklite, jute cord) & pocket cash
RAZR phone
Breitling watch
pen
swisstool spirit OR alox farmer SAK (on the rare occasions where I feel I might need a more robust blade, I will also carry a Spyderco Native S30V)
house & misc keys
car key (only one set, depending on what I am driving that day)
business card case & ipaq 4150 pda (when I am working)
EDC keychain (whistle, small SAK, fenix LOP, small sharpener)

depending on what I am doing, my bag with other stuff in it. cars have yet more stuff.

I try to keep the EDC to a minimum as I am mostly in shorts and don't always want to carry a bag. I appreciate any suggestions and comments.

it looks like you have a zip-tie on your misc keys, what is that for?

Good-looking setup. You probably have already found it, but there is a forum site devoted to EDC. Lots of good pictures to drool over:

That isn't a zip tie, but just a yellow cord that I used to secure the whistle.

A solid locking pocket knife other than the SAK's and the Muli tool is the first thing I would consider upgrading.

I have an S30V Native that I include as I feel is needed. For EDC, I haven't used it too much and if kaka hits the rotating air blowing device, I feel I can make do with the alox farmer SAK or Swisstool Spirit, whichever I have on me. I would probably wish for the Native then.

If I am going hiking or camping, the Native comes along with the multi-tool and a kukhri. Along with other kit items.

I prefer to keep as low profile in an urban setting as possible and most times, I wear shorts to work so there is only so much room to carry stuff without looking like Batman. Don't get me wrong, I like Batman and I like carry stuff with me. I just don't want to look like it.

Mahalo for the feedback. Please keep any suggestions or comments coming. I will never know which is the one that changes what I carry until I see it.
