As long as you don't grow a mullet, it should be fine. Or else you'll end up alone.

If Izzy grows a mullet I call dibs on his lady friend.

Blast spots DW holding the chicken-killing machete and giving him The Look.

Uh, nevermind.

Is it true that fabric brighteners can turn otherwise dull clothing into flares of bright color within the vision spectrum of many animals, including deer?

Research does appear to confirm this;

Looks like Elmer Fudd's orange and orange brown clothing was spot on. whistle

Tests we did in college in the desert showed that 3 feet of airspace was required between the dark shade cloth (black plastic
sheeting) and your head. The thinner the material, the more
heat (light) came through. Space blankets were not quite as good,
tho the heavy duty kind weren't bad. The thin ones did very
little as did clear plastic sheeting.

This was in temperature hot enough that we wore thick
wool socks cause the sand was so hot. If I remember right it was
about 115 degrees F. If you had the black plastic next to your
body you would cook. The airspace was crucial.

Clearwater,

Excellent info. When you say black plastic sheet are you talking about the stuff that Home Depot sells for use as a weed barrier?

Thanks.

yup, the heavy 8 mil type.

We also dug down in the sand to get away from the surface
heated material.
