I own a CZ75B, a Czech midsize, 9mm, that I have loved ever since I shot the first one over 20 years ago. My wife is a big girl, and even though she's no expert, she know's to hold it correctly, using a two hand grip, and not to EVER let anyone get within 7 feet of her if possible. I knw, I know, for the most part, close range shootings are UNDER 7 feet, but this is inside my home.

First 2 rounds are glazer Safety Slugs.....she know's that if she ever has to pull the trigger, it's a "Double-Tap" to Center Mass! If the Perp is still standing, then it's a Double-Tap with HrdroShock's! One way or another, whoever the Perp may be, they are going to the Floor!

Good points, Raspy, but you are going way overboard on what I had in mind. She needs a lot of things and what you point out is good, but she'll need a U HAUL. Come up with something more basic and simple and compact and don't worry so much about following Homeland Insecurity's ever-so-Katrina-wise instructions.

This was probably lost in the thread.. Usually, if your life is threatened, your first option is to flee.. If you are trapped and your life is in danger, only then are you allowed to use lethal force.

Stand your ground changes that. If you feel your physical life is in danger, you have the right to defend yourself. No need to attempt to run away.
