hey partner : i have all kinds of military field/trama dressings U.S.,canadian,british,and the new cinch/trama type...i carry these in my jeep along with a military trama FAK....when i'm in the field i carry a few field dressings for large wounds and a small IFAK for minor wounds and asprin for minor pain in a belt pouch....also have a little larger FAK to treat mild sickness and wounds in my rucksack....vince g. 11b inf...

Jim, this looks too large for an EDC kit. For example. why would you need six dressings or nine prep pads? . I assume, in that case, the kit could be resupplied daily, if necessary. If this was a group kit or you planned to use it for some time in the field, I can see a kit this size.

I like it, I carry something very similar.

I have small individual ointments instead of the tube, and my scissors are on my pocket knife.

"The emergency bandage" is sold at bever sport.

Millitary bandages sold in stores are usually really really old...

It would probably be to large for EDC (on your belt), but it's always with me, if I go to school for example, it's in my school-bag.
The reason there are more prep- and gauze pads is because the kit can also be used (and is oriented) for survival and outdoor- carry.
And if you're in such a situation, it isn't easy to get your kit resupplied, So I carry more of some items.

It's pretty well stuffed, so maybe I could get in some small things, but not a lot.
