Not exactly where I'd expect to see it, but seems the editors of Penthouse have more interest in their readers' well-being than those at the outdoor magazines that seem to have pretty much ignored the Pocket Survival Pak.

"This may be the most important gift you'll ever give...Bonus: Save someone's life and they'll get you a way bigger present next year."

From Penthouse Holiday Gift Guide, December 2005 issue, page 96

Or an image of the entire page (232 KB): http://www.dougritter.com/dec_ph_giftguide_page96.jpg

Remember, these make a great holiday gift and a portion of the sales support ETS Foundation, this web site and this forum.

Will our wives kill us for looking at this? In other words, is it shown being held by (ahem) models?

Hey, this is a family friendly place. <g> Not a female in sight, let alone one in any state of undress.

I wonder what their saying about the PSP in their Forum.

"I never thought it would happen to me, but ...."

Isn't that how most all survival stories start??

Of course that brings about the next question of how Doug found it in penthouse

He just reads it for the articles, of course!

I noticed in the photo that they also pictured something that looks like the Miss A kit, but for men. Instead of magenta, it's black. Go figure.

I have already given a few close male friends their own PSPs. This just goes to show that I am way cooler than Penthouse: I've been giving guys what they need for awhile now... Wait, that's not what I mean!

I can see some fresh cross promotional prospects here.
I can see the sales going up and up especially if Doug can negotiate a personalised delivery service for the ETS PSP ...
ie Pet of The Month to your door
