Have you checked out Maxpedition ?

The M-2 or H-3 might be a good choice.

I did not look through the Dix leather site that I linked above, but give him a call or an email to see if he can do something similar and for the prices.

AFAIK, Dix leatherworks are out-of-business.
I ordered a combo sheath last year and sent him the money. Then Rick "disappeared" for some time ; after a few weeks/months, he came back online, only to disappear again, for good that time. I never heard of him again ; never received my combo sheath neither....
Too bad... he seemed quite good at leathercraft..

Thanks for all the great suggestions, some very nice carry items.

I had someone email this and I would like to find someone to make one for me. The leather belt case with flashlight/multi tool combo would work for those items. Can't seem to email the owner. Any ideas? http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3170737&postcount=19

I use a surplus pistol belt (metal buckles) with a couple of ammo pouches. It's not real convenient, though. I've been looking at
http://podbelt.com/buypod.html
which is similar but has more choices on the holsters. See if that floats your boat.

Are you a biker by any chance??? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
That looks like something a biker would wear <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Or maybe a S&M person... <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Were you too embarrassed to link to there home page ??? Does the girl on the home page come with the belt??? I MIGHT just consider one, if so... Though she does look a BIT artificial up top, but in this case, I might just have to make an exception... <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

You will have to excuse me... I have been cooped up in my office on the 10th floor since the Wed. before Rita struck...
And I am getting a little 'cabin fevor'...Yea...That's it... <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

frenchy,

Sorry to hear that. Delivery on my Dix sheath was long in coming but he did do a great job of it. I know of many other leather workers who could do custom work like this but had never seen anyone other than Dix offering up ready made sheath work for the sort of items we like to carry.

I should edit my Urban Prep article about the Dix leather business.

You _have_ been cooped up too long. :->

Nope, not a biker, a Burner.

(Note the flames on her red costume. A "bit" artificial???? You _have_ been cooped up too long.)
