I missed all of you! My Luddite computer use, nephew's passionate love for Pamela Anderson and ISP's that cannot practice COMMUNICATION brought me to grief. The computers been exorcised, Im tentatively using MSN ( I handle this keyboard like a horse that just discovered electric fencing LOL.) I have abandoned my attempts to market a kit ( for now.) The only folks ( as represented here) that care are better served by the many folks like Blue Line and Exploration in assembling kits to their own criteria. I am still interested in developing or scrounging hard to find or overlooked niche items.

Am I ever glad to see you back. You always (and having looked all the way back to before you were admin) add a little bit of insight/levity to every thread you post to. I'm really sorry to hear that you decided to let the commercial PSK idea go. I was looking forward to seeing how it worked out.

Thanks! I haven't entirely given up on a kit. It's just a bad time personally. I even considered a niche market with equestrians. The local volunteer posse ( they perform S&R and get an oversized license decal for the trailer) has a list of no less than 5 pages of equipment! I took one look and decided a 2nd pack mule was required just to haul the stuff! Then I made the mistake of mentioning my idea at the tack store. You guessed it, next visit revealed whistles and space blankets on display. So Im pursuing the unavailable or undiscovered items, Dehydrated water for one!

Glad you're back after such a protracted absence. I was having CK withdrawal. I thought you said you could repair anything with duct tape, and in under 90 seconds. Guess that doesn't apply to computers. _____________________________________________ PROVERBS 21 : 19

Dehydrated water huh? Have you seen the caffinated water put out by H2O? Running on that concept, a friend of mine was considering marketing "decaffinated water." If you want to try that idea, I can try to put you in touch with him.

Chris, I realize this post was months ago, but I recall going into an outdoor outfitter in LA years ago. They were selling empty Nalgene water bottles with a label reading: Freeze Dried Water - To reconstitute, remove cap, jump into mountain lake and shake bottle vigorously.

I thought it was cute then and your dehydrated water content forced the recollection. Thanks
