AFAIK, this is the first rescue by robot in war zone.

hopefully, the elderly lady will make a good recovery.

What impressed med was not just the actual rescue, but the calm way in which the victim accepted rescue by such unfamiliar means. Some old people would rather die of cold/exposure/enemy action than be transported thus.

Think of the potential, not just in wartime, but for peacetime accidents and emergencies.
