Ditto on the gear bags - I just bought a few compression sacks for my camping equipment and some plastic bins to organize all my gear.

Other purchases were a new winter sleeping bag and new insulated air mattress. I'm going to do more winter camping this year (-20°C and below) with my hot tent. Last year -10°C was the limit of my gear. I figure if it gets much colder than that, I'm probably not going to be enjoying being outside anyways so why should I buy -40°C gear? smile smile

CountyComm has a new pouch — the “Corner Zipper Wallet”. It’s a great size for a pocket kit. My sample is well-made and works well for its intended purpose. No affiliation.

Damn, I haven't been to the CountyComm site in several years...and now I'm not going to need a wallet because I won't have any money. That titanium mini-crescent wrench is sweet!

Yeah visits to the CountyComm site tend to be expensive!

I’ve been working super hard to not buy either of the titanium adjustable wrenches.

I guess it's a new purchase that could peripherally be "preparedness"- I just ordered a new upper! It's a Primary Weapons System Mk114 Mod 1 and the Enhanced Buffer Tube. It would have been great to get the whole rifle but they're unobtainum and I was lucky to find the upper! They're made right across the border from me in Idaho. grin

The roof rack for my 4Runner just arrived!
Arctech Industries Venture Roof Rack

The crossbars slide into the factory-installed roof rails, giving it a low profile and easy installation. More importantly, they also sell a bottle opener that bolts to the rack. grin

The 4" titanium wrench from CountyComm is really nice. Dropped in a rear jeans pocket and I can't even feel it there. It is well made and it has quickly become a necessary part of my EDC.
