As I mentioned, Joe Pointer, my friend's uncle, was in ICU and was not expected to live. He's alive and now back home.

Missed the original post. What was he in for? Coronavirus?

If so, how was he treated? How old? What co-morbidities?

During the early days of the quarantine, Joe needed a pacemaker. Within a few days of the surgery, he came down with pneumonia. He went into ICU, and the hospital did not expect him to live.

As for his age, he is in his seventies.

I'm glad he made it through.

Pneumonia used to be called 'The Old Man's Friend.'
