Besides discussing the zombie apocalypse on ETS, what do you do to keep the sanity in your life?

I read the weekly comic strip Pocket Princesses. In her fan comic, Amy explores what happens if the Disney princesses all live under the same roof.

A Japanese artist has created a stunning series of drawings that tell a story.

Not only is remaking my EDC beneficial, I'm also having fun doing it. I earlier mentioned I'm getting back into shape though this week I have not done much. A month ago I started the book The Chronological Gospels: The Life and Seventy Week Ministry of the Messiah by Michael Rood. Not only does he make the Bible easier to understand, the author has made the Bible exciting.

For the last several months (actually about two years) I have been involved with an intricate paleontological project which is continuing and promising to become even more intricate I also assist my wife with some interesting historical research she is pursuing. Then there is the usual tinkering/repair/improvement stuff around the old homestead. Every summer for the last sixteen years I have been digging in South Dakota (more paleontology) and I am really excited about the coming season as there is a really demanding project on tap. I still get out for a nice walk in the woods from time to time.

Life is good.....

In my exceeding rare downtime:

1) Knotwork

2) Archery and catapultry (slingshots).

3) Classical trombone and red light harmonica (play riffs while waiting for the light to change)

4) Reading - still working my way through "A leap into Darkness"

I took up archery for a short time but only because that is what one of my close friends was doing.

I tinker in my tiny home workshop, get together with old friends and drink beer with them, and above all, get Nature Therapy in the woods and parks.

The wording is unfortunate in the meme, as it implies that a human being is an object. This problem is easily solved: "A man who can do such knots is worthy of respect." Also, don't forget the Oxford comma.

It's an oft quoted line from The Ashley Book of Knots. The multistrand Manrope, Star, and Rose knots are fairly difficult knots to tie.
