another fire kit? 3 dollarstore lighters and waxpaper for tinder?

finished paracord bracelet?

one dollar sharpening stone (show how to lap/flatten, sharpen)?

or sandpaper/stick/glue sharpening stick (cut sandpaper, glue it... learn to sharpen)?

They even have some pretty good knives that just need sharpening and maybe a sheath

reflective dog leash (48 inches)? turn it into a lanyard or ...

all kinds of $1-$1.50 mirrors

reflective saftery armband / slapbracelet

crochet craft kit, yarn , crochet needle , instructions

mini chisels, hole puncher, leather punch, saw/hacksaw? Maybe a floss lashing knife rehandling lesson?

You do realize these are BOY SCOUTS these gifts are for? Somehow, I don't think Disney Princess themed mirrors and tins are going to go over well.

If you're looking for cheap mirrors, Home Depot sells mirror tile for about $2/sq foot. Dremel and glass breaker not included.

i don't judge smile anyway, plenty of non-princess ones, star wars, marvels avengers (hulk), spiderman, minions, teenage mutant ninja turtles, captain jake, paw patrol ....

besides, sanding the tins and painting them can be a project

Hey, some boy scouts may have a special girl scout to give these princess-themed gifts to!

My advise: Give each boy a pocket tool for finding their precise location on a paper map given a UTM coordinate and vise versa AND the training to use it ... maybe to find their home on a topo map

http://maptools.com

This tool in a pack of 25 is low cost:

Put it on a dogtag ballchain lanyard for them, with a red light LED.
