Crows are fascinating. I have known a crow to fish by dropping a bug in the water and snatching a fish with its beak as the fish swims to the bug. I have not seen an example like this:

Crows and other birds are incredibly intelligent, quite possibly smarter than canines and felines and almost as smart as primates/dolphins. After watching that video I wonder if I would have been able to reason out that test! They say that birds are descendants of dinosaurs and according to the movies velocirapters possessed reasoning ability. The movies may not be that far off from reality.

I saw a video today where a bird (not even a crow) was using a bit of bread to fish with. It tossed out the bread, retrieved it and retossed it to attract minnows and then grabbed the minnow to eat.
