Finally! I am pleased to announce my long-awaited RSK® Mk1 and Mini-RSK® Mk1 with Böhler-Uddeholm M390 third-generation powder metallurgy high carbon stainless steel, finished with my exclusive heavy stonewash. Hardened and tempered to HRC 60-62, this evolutionary high-tech blade steel offers improved edge holding, greater toughness and higher corrosion resistance. Even better, the RSK Mk1 with M390 steel is an even more incredible value at only $5 more than the original!

My RSK folders remain KnifeWorks exclusives, just $129.95 for the Mini-RSK® Mk1 (with Black or Orange handles) and $139.95 for the full-size RSK® Mk1(with Black or Orange handles).

Free Shipping in the USA on all M390 RSK Orders.

Note, also, that there are still a very limited number of the original CPM S30V RSK Mk1 and Mini-RSK Mk1 ON SALE at 10% off the original S30V price until stock runs out.

NOTE: There are no plans at this time for black coated blades in M390, nor for a yellow handled Mini, so if you want one of those, grab it now before they are gone.

Pink Minis (with Women's Cancer Donations) will still be available, transitioning to M390 (and higher cost) in the next order Roger makes from BKC. But, for now the Pink S30V are also on sale.

A portion of all RSK sales helps support ETS Foundation and this web site.

Enjoy! grin

Wow! That's awesome, and quite a coup. It's not easy to get M390 and few companies use it. IMOHO it's one of the best knife steels on the planet! I need another folder like a nuclear sub needs a screen door but I might have to get on anyway. grin

I have a couple of kitchen knives in M390 and I've found edge retention is maybe four times better than Super Aogami! There's really nothing I've used that can best it significantly, certainly nothing affordable. It takes a very keen edge as well.

Mine are on the way!

My two favorite folders are my Mk1 and my mini-Mk1 -- I carry the mini almost every day that I'm not flying. I keep it very sharp and the mechanism works like it was brand new after over four years of hard use. I have exactly zero reason to replace either in terms of performance. I'm getting the new ones 'cause I got a promotion and I can laugh.

If you're on the fence about getting an RSK, you won't be disappointed.

Disclosure: I have no financial association with Knifeworks, Benchmade, Doug Ritter or the ETS Foundation; I am an unpaid volunteer here at the ETS Forums.

The only reason(s) I need to buy another RSK is (1) because I like the knife ergonomics (grip & blade profile) and (2) based on other M390 knives I have (BM 710) the blade steel is simply outstanding. smile

Received my two new blades, a regular and a Mini yesterday, and I am very pleased. Great knives and great service from Knifeworks.
