Okay, I've mentioned before how much I like my cheap little Black Cat LED lights from DealExtreme.com, but today I got a real surprise. I accidentally ran one thru the washing machine. blush Must have left in my the pocket of my shorts after my evening walk. At any rate, while they don't even advertise it as waterproof it still works perfectly even after a 15 minute pre-soak and an entire wash cycle! Not bad for eight bucks and change! grin

Dealextreme is pretty good for the el cheapo flashlights that perform well above their price point. The main problem with dealextreme is you can end up on the site just pottering around then going 'Oh, that seems pretty good for the price'

I even ended up purchasing a Class A SE hybrid 6N11 Valve Head Phone Amplifier blush Might be even EMP prove..Well thats what I said to myself. laugh

(Should hopefully be quite good fed with a Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus)

together with some additional 14500 and 18650 LiFePO4 batteries.

This flashlight looks pretty good;

as will take both conventional alkaline and NiMh AAs as well as 14500 rechargeable LiFePO4 cells.

I think I'll get one, thanks. I'm still looking for a 1xAA LED flashlight that has a push button and is as small as the Fenix LD15.

Dimensions (length x diameter): 3.15 by 0.65 inches / 80 by 16.6 millimeters
