we are under tornado watch, about 2 1/2 inches of rain so far today and 1 1/2 yesterday......street flooding starting to be a problem, as the ground is saturated...welcome to tropical Florida...


update at 11:00 pm..... 12+ inches of rain in 12 hours... wind gust probably 70+ mph

update at 11:00 pm.... 12+ inches of rain in past 12 hours... some pretty heavy damage couple of miles away, probable tornado.... had some extremely high, short duration wind... 70+ mph or better at the house....serious street flooding

Wasn't really sure what "violent weather" as in "high probablity of violent weather . . . through Tuesday" meant, but I suspect that's what your describing.
