Yeah, that's a nice watch for sure. Now that we have the reference to "doing a Panama" and the Doxa dive watch, are we sure that Matt isn't really Dirk Pitt?

Yeah I read all of them and I was really psyched about the movie. I liked it and soundtrack is amazing too. Mr. Cussler sold rights to total of three books but he was so unhappy with the way that "Sahara" turned out that there is a law suit pending out there.

There is a movie also based on his book "rise the titanic" but I never seen it and I heard that it is not so good.

This is pretty standard for me walking around town:

Bandana
PocketMod
Mini Gel Pen
Folding reading glasses
Eye drops
Some sort of locking folder (here a BM Mini Grip)
Some sort of SAK (here an alox Soldier)
Photon II
Leatherman Squirt P4
SAK Classic SD or Rambler
Sliver Gripper
REI aluminum whistle
Motorola Razr
All-Ett wallet with usual stuff plus bandaids, Advil, safety pins and coins

Not pictured is my Luminox Navy Seals watch nor my sunglasses.

When I go to the ranch I sub a Leatherman Fuse for the P4, and I usually carry a serrated or combo blade folder. I almost always wear a ball cap of some sort, too.

Is your watch a Doxa? If so, where did you find one with a blue face? That’s very cool. Would it be possible to see a closer picture of it?

It's a Doxa Caribbean 750t... It was a limited edition run I think limited to 250 pieces. You can still find them on ebay or watch forums without much overhead. I think I'm one of the few guys out there who acctually decided to EDC it. Originally I wanted the orange faced one but when I saw the blue one I loved it. I still ended up buying the orange version year later

Picture can be seen here:

I've carried an All-Ett wallet for years. Best ever. Only drawback is they need replacement every 1.5 years or so, I find. But it's definitely the best wallet out there for size and convenience!
