As started by Skater and Comanche the books contributed so-far have been Skater's.

In the library are

1) Death, Daring and Disaster - Checked out to Comanche - Next in line, Minime

2) How to Sh*t in the Woods - Checked out to Comanche - Next in line, Minime

Anyone want to register for one of these books next?

Anyone want to offer any books?

As long as we keep track of who has what and who wants what next, we may be able to manage a fairly large library.

If this takes off we could have a forum for the library with a thread for each book perhaps. Chris? Doug?

If there is enough interest, I can set up a separate forum section for this. Let's see if the interest is there.

For those who may follow this thread in the future, reference also the Survival Forum thread titled "Death Daring and Disaster" from October/November 2003.

I am interested in the traveling library. I do not want to be on the list of either book currently moving about, but think this is a great idea.

I have a couple of books that I can add to the travels.

I have:

"Cache Lake Country", John Rowlands 1947, 1959 edition that I would not mind moving about. It is an excellent book on living in a wilderness cabin year round. Many many handicrafts, tips, etc in a super readable format. I highly recommend this book. Here is a mini-intro to the book:

Others, I will post them up tomorrow (if I remember).

I would be very interested in reading a copy of:

Calvin Rutstrum
"The Way of the Wilderness" 1946 or 1952

Note this is NOT "The NEW Way of the Wilderness" 1958

Great idea guys. <img src="images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
