Well, it always happens - a couple of Minnesota hunters spent an uncomfortable night out. Here's the press release from our DNR that has some good (if a bit dated) advice.

I bet they didn't get any supper and were sent to bed early by their moms, when they got back home. wink

If the bear hunters can't survive their own planned trips, they just become food for their prey, and it saves another couple of Bambis, right?

The Minn.DNR didn't even mention water,As for Hydration!Bears are in the Eat Everything mode, this time of year,But if it's Bear season for Hunting,Anyone short of a Seasoned Guide, would be Hard-Pressed,To find one! Those hunters had to have some supplies with them ie.A Dead sled,Rope,Towels/Rags/Hand Cleaner,Knives, etc. 3 Very fit Linebackers would have a Dickens of a Time, carrying a Bear carcass, roughly 3-500lbs,without some Rope/Supplies,Let alone 3-Derelict Hunters!

well this is really a let down,Minnesota guys should be big time outdoor types and not staggering around the woods.a night out like that should have been a party with a big fire and a bottle of brandy....

You got that right! Brandy, however, must be packed in. I wonder why the DNR omitted that from the list smile
