Just bought some of the keep2go containers ( medium)



Essentially a tube with a screwcap.

Pros:

-Very tough - thick walls
-Waterproof - at least in the sink test
-cool

Cons:

-Heavy for what it is
-very small interior capacity ( med. will hold a bit more than a aa battery)

I bought a box of these a while back.
Pretty handy for storing batteries, pills, fishing/sewing kits, drink mix, etc.

As I said - they are blow mold preforms with a fancy cap - you can get them for about 50 cents + another 20 cents or so for a standard soda bottle cap in single quantity, and a LOT less in bulk

Heck, go down to your local soda bottling plant, and I'm sure you could probably talk your way into 2-3 of them

The loop top is pretty cool. I just ordered 30 or so Baby Soda Bottles. Some of the guys here have given 'em mixed reviews. Hopefully they're reasonably water tight.

For a whopping 8 bucks including postage, I got a set. I like the loop top cap and I'd rather use the 30 or so seconds it took to order a set via Paypal than the hours it would take to find a soda bottling plant...;^)

I got some of these from CountyComm with the regular lids a couple of years ago, they're still holding up just fine.

...These just fell to me like a product looking for a reason to exist. Too tough and small for matches, and over-rugged. I need more space than these provide...

Well here's what I've got.

I ordered a set of these on Monday, they showed up today postage paid to my door in Southern California from Washington state.

The postage alone cost $2.40 plus they were in a tough, hard to tear bag.

The tubes themselves not only come with the handy loop top, there's a lanyard with a toggle/cord lock included within each tube and the set came in a nice little mesh bag with another toggle on it.

The tubes themselves are not the same as the County Comm ones I already own, I don't know if they're even pre-form bottles. 3 different sizes and colors.

The caps fit on them well, wish that the caps/threads were universally sized but that's nitpicking.

I know I've got some small items that will fit into these nicely.

The four toggles, 3 lanyards and the mesh bag would cost at least 3-4 bucks alone I reckon.

Given the cost and what you get, I'd give them 2 thumbs up.
