Financial crisis is hitting many companies and countries.
Lots of jobs are lost, BUT lots of prep items are becoming cheaper.

Do you see any deals and steals in prep items the next 6 months ?
Have you seen them already ? What ? Where ?

Anything from knives, flashlights , FAKs , packs, or anything in between.

Walmart will be putting most of their hunting gear on clearance soon. I've picked up knives, hand warmers, deer butchering tools, and clothing dirt-cheap when they've done this in the past. My favorite buy this way was one of those cast-iron, hand-cranked meat grinders for $5.00.

You might start hitting pawn shops, too. They do great business this time of year and after the holidays, too.

I have just aquired a Laksen Moose Field Jacket for £70 or $104 which normally retails at £240 or $355 ($480 only a few months ago) ... smile , but still unsure whether to get the matching trouser at £40 or $59 which normally retail at £130 or $192.

There appears to be lots of bargains out there at the moment.

Cabela's has a Coleman Two-Burner PerfectFlow™ InstaStart™ Propane Stove for $39.99 - $40 off the regular price. I bought one for use during power outages at home. Fortunately I haven't needed to use it yet. smile
