I surf a lot of outdoor sites. I occasionally run across the D.R. Pocket Survival Pak but not of the same name.

See Example: http://www.prospectoroutfitters.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=371948!LMA

Curiously is this an infringement or does Mr. Ritter license different distributors?

Thanks just curious

Cameron

According to the title of the breadcrumbs it's attributed to Adventure Medical. So maybe this is thinking that there's a problem where none exists?

Here's the navigation:
Camping Supplies > Accessories > Survival Products > Adventure Medical Pocket Survival Pack

Even so, I could go out today, create basically a pack that is identical to Mr. Ritters, copy about everything but the text instructions and anything that's Trademarked and slap any name on it that I want. There's no product in that kit that's not already commercially available or patent infringing. It's a pre-packed kit. Though I think if this place is truly selling these as their own, that's deplorable business etiquette, it's probably not illegal as long as they stripped out trademarked or copyrighted materials for their own.

I guess the thing that caught me off guard is the brand:

Color: N/A N/A
Size: ONE SIZE ONE SIZE
Brand: Liberty Mountain Adventure
Style: 371948
Our Price: $32.95

As a side note if Mr. Ritter has an opportunity to read this. The Pencil in the P.S.P I purchased kind of wiggled around and wore the sharpened lead into a fine dust and coated most of the items in a grey lead or graphite dust. don't think it hurts anything but kind of messy when using items. No ideas on how to fix this but thought I would mention.

Perhaps the confusion is because they listed "Liberty Mountain Adventure" as the Brand. I think the person who entered the info is just a wee bit confused or it has limited space in the text field. Liberty Mountain is a major outdoor gear distributor who handles many, many lines, one of which is Adventure Medical Kits.
