I noticed Brigade Quatermaster has Stabilized Oxygen. Does anyone know how well it works for purifying water or for water storage?

I have lots of allergies, including iodine and chlorine, so I'm looking for other options.

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't find much either. I had hoped my post might generate some leads on finding more information.

Are there any chemists out there who could explain how stabilized oxygen might work for water purification?

Since I can't safely use iodine or chlorine for myself, boiling is my first choice. I'm looking at water filters but haven't decided which one I like best. I'm interested in the solar pasteurization, but will have to research it a bit more. Are there any other options?
