"...Bought a 12 oz can of Pepsi and a decent-sized pack of pretzels yesterday on AMTRAK for $3..."

Wow, I am amazed, and impressed...

Don't remind me. We took a couple of grandkids to a movie last week, I thought I was gonna have to take out a second on the home on wheels to pay for it...

You can fit a candy bar in your cargo pants but not a drink.

I can hide a can of anything in my cargo pockets. Unfortunately, I like my soda/iced tea in a glass with a lot of ice. THAT is hard to sneak in...

OBG, it depends on what kind of bag your bringing along, I have snuck in a subway sandwich (including the drink) and eaten it there... I don't think anyone would really care that much...

Im officially and addict!!

My family flew Delta this past week to and from Jackson, Wyoming (Tetons/Yellowstone!!!), and they gave us drinks and a choice of snacks (crackers, cookies, nuts), and they came around offering a second round of snacks.

Everyone (counter, gates, flight attendents, TSA, ...) was really top notch and especially great with the kids.

Didn't pay extra for bags, drinks, snacks, or anything beyond the tickets.

I can't complain.

I was raised such that if I had nothing good to say, don't say it at all... On that note, I have nothing to say about AA.
