I'm also from DFW - have to admit that I'm a transplant. Wouldn't live anywhere else after getting here.

This is my first time in DFW, and so far really like the area!!! Now if my wife would let me rent a pick up truck, i'd fit in! I've never saw so many pick up trucks in my life!!!!!

Next on the list is a hat and belt buckle... we are going to Cavenders. I can really get into the texas way of life. Just wish i can keep up with the locals when it comes to eating. I have more then enough food for the whole day at breakfast! Then add lunch and then dinner...arrrggggggggggggggggggg.

And some of us actually drive a sedan.

Anyhow, everywhere you look you see the lone star. Everyone here takes pride in their country. Yes, I know, I just called a state a country.

"...I just called a state a country..."

If I remember my US history correctly, it was, for a short time...

"...foat wuth..."

That's in Takesass, right?

I did my basic training there, but I am sure that doesn't count...
