I started looking at all the old posts, pretty interesting. I didn't know Les Stroud posted here. There are a lot of eerie predictions that ended up coming to fruition

What I do when I done and want to save the leave off page is copy the url and post it to a word doc to save it for later.

Here is where I am now.

http://forums.equipped.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=1&page=420

Click on the link and then click again on the green up/down arrows next to the address bar.

Is there an easier way to do this?

Tons of info available considering the searches only go back 3 years.

Let it be know that I am not advocating resurrecting old post. Its just a good read in retrospect.

Hoping I'm not in violation of any rules.

I do something similar for specific threads that I want to "catalog" for later reference, but without all of the Word-related activity (open, copy, paste, save, close etc).

(This is in Firefox) I created a Folder "ETS Threads" in my Bookmarks list, and simply bookmark the first page of the thread (in cases where a thread runs into multiple pages) into that folder. Sometimes the assigned default name suffices (which BTW, is the thread title); other times, I'll rename it to better describe and hopefully, make it easier later on to remember why I bookmarked it.

In your case, you could rename the bookmark to include the "leave-off date."

That would make you 90. You're remarkably spry for your age. grin
