can't add much more than anyone else, but I have been teaching arc/oxy/mig for 20 odd years to high school students. try to find a night class at local high school in your area. If you know an agriculture teacher locally, he/she might be willing to teach you one on one in a "crash" course about welding. If I was closer, I would invite you over. Dale
