This is my first post. I am a survival knowledge junkie. Let's call that a "survivaholic"

I'm looking for some good videos to buy on the topic.
I have seen the reviews on www.equipped.org

I have most of the Ron Hood Series. (very good)
I have the "Prepared to Survive" DVDs starring Doug Ritter. (outstanding)
I have the 3 videos by Thomas J. Elpel. (good)
I have "Stay Alive" by Preston Westmoreland (good)
I have "Getting Unstuck" by Bill Burke about vehicle recovery (very good)
I have "Campfire Magic" by Todd Allen (very basic)
I have also downloaded and watched those videos that Doug Ritter recommended at www.bushcraft.se (outstanding)

What Wilderness Survival Videos have you seen that you recommend?

Welcome to the fire newguy! Have you seen Les Stroud's season one DVD set from Walmart? Along with all his wilderness survival stuff he includes a dvd about urban survival which has a lot of good info one it.

I like Ray Mears, but his show is on the BBC, so the only way I can watch it is on YouTube.

I watched some of those Ray Mears clips on Youtube. He really seems to know his stuff. I was at his web site today. He sells 5 videos. After looking at the content of those videos I wasn't interested.
His books don't seem to get good reviews on amazon either.

Ray Mears is very knowledgeable in wilderness survival and IMHO is one the best out there.

I have the bushcraft survival and extreme survival videos and have watched them many times.

People have to realize that these are not the normal 'teach you how to survive" videos, rather they are more of a documentary and history lesson on how people survived in the past and also how people survive in the present.
