New DW revelation !!!!!

My DW has decided that she needs a BoB and that the BoB that I have started for DD1 needs to be greatly expanded!! (no secret there). I guess that I am about to go buy 2 more Austrian packs and start getting the necessary gear together for them.

I have a lot of "holes" in the BoB equipment list of each family member's BoB but I have now got all of the Inventory lists up-to-date and I will now start filling in the missing pieces plus greatly expand DD1's BoB and get my DW's BoB created and filled and thus, standardize our BoB's plus add "community equipment" (like shovels, machete's, axe/hatchets, tents, etc)

I will start standardizing our "stable" after the first of the year so that the entire stable will be ready to be our "secondary stage" vehicles in the event an evacuation is required. ATT, that means that I have to provide transportation for 2 handicapped persons. The second person (my best friend) has a manual chair and I will probably get the equipment required to connect his chair to a tongue w/hitch (by lifting up on the front wheels and towing his chair like a rickshaw) onto one of our bikes. I will have to either get the handicapped trailer for DD1 or convert another manual chair to be "hitched" up to the bikes like my friend's chair, or find room to carry a folded up manual chair along with her on the trailer (a new set of headaches).

The serious part of Hurricane Season will start this month (actually already has gotten there) and I am reviewing those actions needed to meet the requirements of my HurrCon 4, 3, 2, and 1.

Nice, it always feels good when your SO starts feeling the same as you about being prepared.

About a year ago while searching the net I found several 4 wheeled bicycles that were 36 speed or so. Pricey, but the range of gears might make pulling people and gear easier?

That sounds like it has definite possibilities. I'll start looking around and see what I can find to look over.
