Stumbled across this interesting looking cart while looking for a hand truck. Looks like it would make a nice BO/Camping gear cart. (except for the price) Does anyone make something similar but at an affordable price?

How about something like this,

While not quite as "cool" looking it would work and carry a lot of stuff.

Hello, new member as of today and I also have been looking for a good cart or "supply horse". HandTrucks.com has several and I noticed a set of wheels at Northern Tool Equipment to DIY. Hope this helps.

Depending on the terrain you expect to encounter, this may be a viable alternative.

Not recommended for swampy areas.

Some years back I bought my wife one of these folding aluminum carts for the barn:

http://www.tipkemfg.com/

but it ended up staying in the garage and we put it in the truck s whenever we think we might need to haul gear for Scouts (when we have to park a good distance from the camp site) or other activities. They even make a marine-grade version in case you want to use it along the sea coast.

It folds easily and hold a lot of gear. I don't think its quite as tough, nor quite as big as the non-folding barn carts such as this:

http://www.norwaycarryall.com/carryall.html

but the aluminum cart folds fairly small and works well for us.

A search for "garden cart" will yield a great many choices for two wheeled gear carrying. Useful for gardening and moving loads up to 300#, pets, people, water, etc.

Two wheeled carts were actually pretty common when the pioneers were coming across the great plains and the Rockies. Not everyone could afford an ox or a mule, so some had to tote it themselves.

Ugh!
