Has anyone tried Provident Pantry Freeze Dried? - 07/28/06 04:09 AM

I have tried the Mountain House freeze dried and like it quite a bit. I did notice that the Provident Pantry offers more "meats" outside of the diced beef/chicken.. Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the product.

Thanks!

That brand is a new one on me, and I thought I'd tried them all.
I googled up some suppliers, and will try them out

That said, I've gone back to Mountain House for the packs as main meals.

//Never found anything that tops the old LRRPS Rations from the early 70's for taste/convienence.
///Airforce Rats were good but bulky.

Hello NYC2SCal,

I have tried many of the Provident Pantry products. Meats, Cereals, Veggies and Fruits. All have proven to be of excellent taste and quality. They are nitrogen purged and vacuum packed with oxygen asorbers. So far all the items my family and I have tried, we have found very edible. I say very edible because the quality to me is as good a Mountain House. Not I do not work for the makers of Provident Pantry.

Hope it Helps.....
