I signed up for Meritline's email subscription. I get an email about once a week. Maybe once a month I buy something.

I have a similar tool in my "work" EDC pouch. I haven't actually used it yet, but I know that the time will come.

No. These are the worst possible execution of the solutions they try to embody.

I bought one just to try out. But the design (exposed blade) seems like an accident waiting to happen.

They make Good strikers against the flat edge, at 90 degrees to your firesteel, I bought one and lost it so, yes but not any more!

I have one too. Good quality steel for pry bar. Nothing really fancy in regards of other functions, but it's better than nothing and very easy to carry - in a wallet, shirt pocket, behind the lining (I'm usually carrying it in the jeans lighter pocket - completely unnoticeable and tight fit). Got it for $1 (shipped!) of eBay.

Quality can be very variable. I had one back in the 1980's. They are not bad for what they are, sadly they ain't no substitute for a small multi-tool.

I have one or two, but I don't know where it (they) are. I prefer my Swiss Tech micro pliers and a good knife.

I'd rather carry a SAK or small multi-tool.

Me too....this tiny Victorinox Classic (and a little bit o' Blarney) goes where I go.
