Book: The Backpacker's Handbook

I've read a couple of his books about his hiking in North America especially north of '60 (he's from Great Britain) and chatted with him by email and on Usenet. Nice guy and very well schooled on long distance hiking but doesn't take it to the extreme like some ultra-lighters.
