Topic hijacking ( subject changing habit ) - 06/19/07 05:40 AM

It's so confusing when somebody changes the Subject line of an active topic. It's not only confusing for one willing to watch an interesting conversation, but also a way for some interesting topics to loose their audience...

I'm sure that the entire Forum will benefit if the Administrator will uncheck the "Allow to change the subject" in the forum engine's options. If someone wants to change the Subject of somebody's conversation, - it's logical, polite, and easy enough to start a new Topic with some quotation from an inspiring one, rather than hijacking it.

I do this sometimes unintentionally.

Sorry, I'll be more careful in the future. But I think its a democracy in these forums. ANYONE can, and should, step in and ask (please lets focus on our subject).

Reminders dont hurt anyone.

Good point, and I know that I am guilty of hijacking from time to time. I'll try to do better...

So, how do you thing the Gators are going to do this year? Any chance of being national champs again?
