My dad - 05/04/07 01:28 PM

I have to share this e-mail from my dad, currently in Alaska. To put it in perspective, he's 75 years old and has only one leg...

"Tonight around 4:30 my friend is picking me up to go out and familiarize myself with his ATV's before we climb the mountain to his cabin.
We are going about an hour away from here, he has some bear sets (traps) there he wants to check.
Hope the ATV he loans me is faster then his. The bears are out of hibernation now and are hugnry.
Sure looking forward to going up that mountain.
Love, dad"

I personally believe if WWIII hits, cockroaches will come to him for tips on surviving! grin

-Blast, in awe of his father.

people like your dad are awesome. i know a lady who had hip replacement recently and now uses a walker yet she still volunteers every month cooking and feeding the hungry, a job which can test you mentally and phisically...

Great email Blast. I'm thinking the bears might want to be careful.

Lol, good one Blast.....your dad is still a young man.

Spoke with my dad today by phone, he is in Cuba and is 95 years old...... up till two years ago you were able to talk to him on the phone and he sounded like a 21 year old , bright and sound of mind and very healthy.

My people live a long time.....one uncle is 99 and another one 97 my grandfather die at 101...... I for one am 67 and never take any prescription medecines, don't smoke, drink or do drugs, do cach a cold about once every six years ... and drink a lot of milk.

Always had high blood preassure, over 165, the only time that I had any trouble with my blood preasssure was when I was in the Army and was given a polygraph exam for my Crypto Clearence.... the machine keep jumping all over the place like a bich in heat.
