Moo !

I've updated my winter trunk kit and was wondering... does cold have any harmful effects on :

- Small propane tanks and/or Coleman Black Cat catalytic heater
- Laerder CPR Pocket Mask
- other medium sized first-kit kit items (while we're at it) ?

Thanks !

Bee,

I wonder about the same stuff. Mostly I"ve found:

any thing liquid will freeze ( and some will burst)
dry foods -- chocolate and granola bars-- will do fine, but will taste awful at the end of the cold season.

You could put your CPR mask and other items in a deep freeze, then bring it out and see if it cracks with handling.

Whatever you do....don't leave activated charcoal in your car if it can even possibly freeze.......nasty rupturing of the bottle and it won't be pretty......don't ask how I know... <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
