Try this site: http://translation.langenberg.com/

I didn't try it, but it looks like it might be what you're looking for.

I could give you the translations in dutch.

Help mij.
Ik ben gewond en heb een ambulance nodig.
Ik ben beroofd.
Kan iemand de politie voor mij bellen ?
Ik word aangevallen door terroristen.

For what it's worth, in a lot of European country's there is 1 centralized number for emergencies. 112
I gues it's comparable with 911 in the us.

I have used this site in the past:

http://www.babblefish.com/babblefish/

I always have trouble when I haven't used in a while zeroing in on the "free" translation spot, but it does pretty good with spanish & german.

In Russian:

I am transliterating from cyrillic spelling into English
1. Pomogite! (strees on i)
2. Ya ranen i mne nuzhna skoroay pomosh'
3. Menya ograbili
4. Pozvonite v militsiy, pozhaluista
5. Menya nedostatochno attacovali terroristy!
(#5 is translated literaly as picard120 asked <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />)
#5 means:" I wasn't attacked enough by terrorists"

Agreed!, -Many typical Phrase Books, -including and especially Good ones such as the Berlitz Pocket sized Guides, -have Excellent, Extensive such sections. Sometimes a whole chapter. Additionally, -there is often a large Medical Translation section/chapter.

Even Bilingual Dictionaries, and sometimes Grammers, -often have such a section. Sometimes they're Extensive and Good!

I used to speak French very good. Learned it two years at school. Stopped with it, and after two months....I didn't new anything anymore!! French is one of those languages that you need to keep speaking.

i respect and admire those that have supplied the translations to your question, but i sometimes have a problem with english.

before leaving the country i learn how to say "fire" in the language(s) where i'll be traveling.

it's easy for me to remember one word in an emergency. and, "fire" is a real attention-getter no matter where you are.

obviously i would not shout "fire" in a theatre.

but i always planned on shouting it out if there were people nearby.. even here @ home..

Unless you have decent pronounciation, I'd go with getting them printed and laminated, to help with pointing.

I am injured and need paramedic help - Jestem chory i potrzebuje doktora!
I have been robbed - Zostalem obrabowany!
Can someone call police for me? - Potrzebuje Policje (in poland numbers for ambulance, fire and police are differetnt...)

Where can I get a good meal - Kielbasy?
Want to buy recepie for ice cubes? - Czy chces kupic przepis na kostki lodowe?
