5.11 tactical pant size's

Does anyone know if the 5.11 pants waist size is with the elastic stretched, loos or somewhere between that ?

i want to buy a pair to replace my inexpensive BDU touwsers, mine are starting to show there age.

I wear the originals from royal robbins - www.royalrobbins.com They tend to run just a little loose. If your waist is right at the dividing line between 31 & 32 then get a size 31. If your 32s are already snug then get a size 32 & you should be fine. Hope this helps

Are those the "Half Dome" pants?

Those are the ones. I guess they sold the 5.11 name but kept the design. The RR pants have much more comfortable material than the current 5.11 brand. I own several pair and wear them almost daily in cooler weather & Sundays during the summer. 5.11 academy shorts are daily summer work wear.
