I know there are many eminent self-appointed authorities of bear attacks on this forum. I respectfully submit this video for your expert opinion.

Well, that was interesting! At one point she stated that bears don't attack people as prey or something to that effect - while she is an expert and I'll agree with that overall there are cases where polar bears stalked people and killed/ate them.

What does anyone else think? Still, very good - thanks!

When you go into bear country, you should take bear pepper spray and wear little silver bells on your shoes so they can hear you coming. It's also important to distinguish between black bears and brown bears. Black bear feces is light brown, formed in a compact patty shaped stool. Brown bear feces is darker brown, smells like pepper, and has little silver bells in it.
