As a man is driving his Ford Model T, his ride breaks down on the side of the road. The driver gets out, lifts the hood, but is unable to find the problem.

A limousine going down the same road pulls to the side of the road next to the Model T. To the amazement of the Model T driver, the passenger, not the chauffeur, steps out of the limousine, walks to the Model T looks under the hood and quickly fixes the problem.

The Ford driver didn't understand how a rich man would know anything about a Model T, let alone step out of his limousine to fix one. "How did you do that?"

"It's simple." The rich man answered. "I designed the Model T."

A friend of mine had a similar experience when he was asked in an interview if he knew anything about the sub registers on the IBM 360 operating systems, they were having real trouble making them work (I'm paraphrasing as didn't have a clue what he was talking about),
Answer: " I wrote them".
The next question was "When can you start"?
