Outdoor Survival Podcast - 01/13/16 06:49 PM

I have launched a Podcast called the "Canadian Outdoor Survival Podcast" It will be out monthly, its free, with minimal sponsorship, and is only 15-20 minutes long per episode. It will cover the basics of wilderness survival in a cold environment.

It is available directly Direct Podcast Link or from iTunes.

If anyone on the forum has any ideas for future episodes, let me know. I have already produced the first few months, but I am always interested in ideas...Thanks

Great stuff Bruce! Thank you for the announcement. I'm listening to many survival podcasts on the way to/from work every day. One was a nice Canadian podcast as well, but lately the guy started spending too much time ranting about the politics... Ditched him smile

Don't want to derail the thread, so could you please email a link to your favourite podcasts, Alex? I'd like to load some onto my MP3 player along with Bruce's.

I don't have links, as I'm using the PodcastAddict app on my Android phone to update and listen, but you should be able to find them by names, as they are supposed to be unique:

The Survival Podcast
Survival Medicine
Today's Survival Show
The Sumo Survival Bushcraft Podcast
Survivor Oz
Survival Radio Network
Survivalist.com
In The Rabbit Hole Urban Survival - fun one smile

There are plenty more available (just added the Canadian Outdoor Survival Podcast, only 1 episode though, will start listening in 20 minutes).

Done listening. It is a really good podcast Bruce, thanks! Please keep it coming. I like your speaking manner as well. Just a little technical note: could you equalize the intro and final music fragments volume? They are extremely loud compared to your voice, especially when listening with noise isolating earphones.

Thanks and Yes I am fixing the recording volume and for the next one I should have that licked. I prefer to spend my time learning new survival/bushcraft skills instead of fighting with my software...but such is life
