It's hard to believe his last post was over six years ago. Anyone who joined our campfire here after February of '09 never had the pleasure of his company. He was a wise, generous, helpful, wonderful dude taken far too soon.

I was fortunate enough to be able to enjoy his company here for some years.
So I´ll join the toast.

He was a great leader here. He was never controversial, always eager and usually quite helpful. His departure left a cloud over the forum that took a long time to get over. I still miss him and his humor and wisdom.

I offer a poignant clink.

Joining the toast. It is great to see his wisdom imprinted here forever, and a bit sad that the forum's search engine is incapable of reaching it by silly technical limitations.

Here's to you OBG. One of my favorite reads on the board.

To Old Bald Guy: rest well and have many adventures in God's Heavenly campgrounds and forests. We do miss your wisdom and comradeship!

It's hard to believe that Old Bald Guy left us six years ago. It seems like just yesterday that I was reading his last post. I haven't been posting here as much as in years past. But I always check in and read up most every day. It's with sadness, but fond memories, that I remember and salute OBG after Blast's toast yesterday.

OBG - A great guy. Very helpful. A friend to many.

Friendship comes at a price. Sometimes that price is a high one. When a friend is passes we mourn them, we grieve at loosing them but we are enriched for having them in our lives.
Life goes on.

He made an impression on this forum that is still felt.His demeanor set the tone for us to follow. In a sense he is still on here with us. Miss you much

OBG passed before I came here but I have read many of his posts. His presence is still missed today.

Yeah OBG is truly missed. Time flies all too fast.

Its a reminder to appreciate the experience, wit, wisdom, humor, and opinions of all those who post here. Its a forum that could easily get, well, weird. While I know the forum sheriffs have a lot to do with it, I'd like to think OBG is helping out a bit and enjoying it.
